The IT Manager will be a senior strategic leader, responsible for aligning the organisation’s digital strategy with its business objectives. The successful candidate will lead a small IT team and play a key role in driving digital transformation, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring technology supports the organisation's long-term growth goals.

• Develop and execute an IT strategy aligned with organisational goals.

• Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities for digital innovation.

• Oversee IT infrastructure with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.

• Define and track KPIs for IT performance and project success.

• Manage risk, backup, and disaster recovery planning.

• Lead digital transformation initiatives that modernise systems and processes.

• Stay informed on emerging technologies and trends to inform strategy.

• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

• Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals.

• Identify skill gaps and implement relevant training.

• Conduct performance reviews and support professional growth.

• Ensure cybersecurity compliance and data protection.

• Manage the IT budget effectively, optimising resources and spend.

• Create and enforce IT policies and governance procedures.

• Ensure delivery of high-quality IT support and services across the business.

• Lead by example in promoting a safety-first culture.

• Support workplace improvement and participate in incident investigations as needed.

• Contribute to annual reviews and goal setting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (required).

• Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, ITIL, CISSP) are advantageous.

• Strong strategic thinking and business alignment.

• Ability to lead cultural and technological change within teams.

• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.

• At least 5 years in an IT management or similar senior IT leadership role.

• Proven record of leading digital transformation and managing complex IT projects.
