Client Details

Our client is a specialist B2B manufacturer and supplier operating in a high-end, luxury product market. Based in Yorkshire, the business is PE-backed, growing internationally, and has recently invested in cloud-based systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Azure, and Power BI to support its expansion across the globe.

Description

In this role, you'll take full ownership of the day-to-day IT function, managing one internal team member and coordinating with third-party suppliers to deliver IT to a growing SME.

A key focus will be driving the adoption and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power BI, and Power Apps to enhance business performance. The role will also play a central part in supporting business-wide improvement and change initiatives, moving the organisation away from manual processes toward more scalable, system-led workflows.

You'll lead the development and implementation of the company's cybersecurity strategy, ensuring policies, compliance (including GDPR and Cyber Essentials), and internal awareness are up to standard.

Working closely with the key stakeholders, and a Fractional CIO, you'll ensure IT strategy is fully aligned with the business's commercial goals. You'll be responsible for managing core IT operations, including budgets, licensing, and vendor relationships, ensuring you have the right support from the MSP for the Microsoft 365 products.

Profile

• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with good knowledge of Finance and Operations business processes (although experience with other SaaS based ERP will be considered if used in SME businesses)
• Solid knowledge of Power BI: data modelling and user-centric dashboard design roll-outs
• Experience working with Microsoft 365 and cloud-based systems
• A solid grasp of cybersecurity principles and best practice implementation
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ideal for someone in an IT project management, business systems or applications role looking to step up into IT leadership

Job Offer

• A competitive salary of £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
• 22 days of holiday leave
