Job Description - IT Operations Manager

As an IT Operations Manager at ITG, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our IT, ensuring that our systems are running smoothly and efficiently for the large user base. You will work closely with our outsourced IT provider and other business stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance our enterprise IT capabilities. Building strong relationships with business unit heads and end users will be a key success factor for this role. Someone who is passionate about raising the bar when it comes to user experience will thrive in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the IT operations, including physical infrastructure, cloud environments (Azure AD and 365) and enterprise applications (MS Suite, G-workspace, Monday, Workable, etc)
  • Drive best practise amongst the user base of our platforms to make their day to day roles more effective across our offices and users remote locations.
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of our IT systems
  • Monitor and analyse system performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Plan and coordinate system upgrades and maintenance activities
  • Manage incidents and work closely with the team to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to IT operations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in IT operations management
  • Proven experience in IT operations management or a similar role
  • Strong technical background with a user centric focus
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices is desirable
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus
