Job Description - It project manager – warehouse management system

This is a fixed term contract until 30/06/2025, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

This position is based at our UK Head Office in Andover, Hampshire; the successful candidate would be required to travel to the office 3 days per week.

Main Purpose of the Role Responsible for the delivery of work streams in a Warehouse Management System project across the region.

Ensure that work stream projects are delivered to the highest standards, that they are mobilised in the right way, that the outputs are clear, and that progress is driven to ensure that scope, time, quality, and cost targets are met on a consistent basis.

Key Responsibilities Project Delivery • Working with business stakeholders and the IT Team to plan and schedule the delivery of key work stream activities.

• Leading delivery of agreed technical and business solutions, in collaboration with work stream leads and technical teams.

• Adopting responsive and agile techniques where appropriate to ensure that the pace of the implementation matches the expectations of the business teams.

Governance and Controls • Managing an appropriate level of governance and control to ensure effective delivery.

• Providing timely, accurate and meaningful project reporting consistent with Le Creuset standards.

• Proactive intervention to escalate risks and issues on a timely basis.

• Effective management of key stakeholders.

Documentation • Ensuring systems are documented appropriately according to IT standards.

• Ensuring proper documentation is provided from 3rd parties.

• Ensuring planning support for effective Release and Service Transition is provided.

Knowledge Required • 5+ years experience in Warehouse Management Systems Project Management • Prior experience with warehousing and logistics systems processes is a must • Prior Management experience, both on leading a technical solution implementation and team management • Experience of managing projects with a mixed team of internal and external resources Skills & Qualifications • Prince 2 Practitioner, PMP, MSP or similar.

• Six Sigma green belt or other BPR qualification.

• A strong leader and team player with good interpersonal skills able to create a sense of community amongst project teams.

• Drive, innovation and continuous improvement.

• Build trusted relationships, comprehend the business environment and interrelationships between business processes.

• Good track record for sound thinking, creativity, achieving results and financial management.

• Ability to multitask.

• Flexible and pragmatic approach to the demands of this role, the area of responsibility and the changing needs of the business.

Other Information This position may require travel within the UK and Europe so a full UK driving licence and valid Passport are essential.
