Title: IT Risk Manager
Location: City Centre, Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and lead internal/external IT audits, from preparation to remediation.
• Maintain IT risk assessments, controls documentation, and compliance procedures.
• Provide expert guidance to control owners, identifying and addressing control gaps.
• Own the IT Risk Management Framework and support key governance processes.
• Produce regular risk and compliance reports for senior stakeholders.
• Support risk forums and promote a strong risk-aware culture across IT.

Your Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of frameworks/standards like ISO27001, NIST, ITIL, SOC2, GDPR, etc.
• Strong grasp of IT control principles and risk assessment practices.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to influence, challenge, and work collaboratively across teams.
