IT Security Engineer

IT Security Engineer required by an established company located in Horsham. The IT Security Engineer will be responsible for:

• Protecting internal IT systems and maintaining the company's security infrastructure
• Monitoring security systems
• Checking server & firewall logs
• Supporting security audits
• Identifying vulnerabilities and implementing dfixes
• Assisting with system backups & updates
• Data protection
• Providing IT security support

Key Experience:

• A technical background in IT support (2nd line)
• Commercial experience in role where IT security has been the main focus
• Firewalls
• Supporting users with IT security

Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite:

• Working on security audits
• ISO 27001
