For our IT & Process Management department, we are looking for the earliest possible date for a

IT Solution Architect (m/f/d)

Your main tasks include

• You are responsible for strategic enterprise architecture management and work operationally on short and medium-term projects.
• In the projects, you act as an IT consultant for the specialist department, are available to answer technical questions and develop / take responsibility for the technical conceptualization together with the IT experts from the various application areas (SAP, Automic, EDI, Salesforce and many more).
• You take on the role of translator and mediator between IT (+ external service providers if necessary) and the specialist department. You lead the process: starting with the requirements of the specialist department, through technical conceptualization to handover to implementation.
• You lead the necessary technical discussions and coordination and steer the conceptual design towards a sustainable, future-oriented target application landscape. You are not afraid to dive deep into the discussion (if necessary) and talk about "bits and bytes" with the IT experts.
• Validation of different implementation variants and associated decision templates are developed by you and presented to the decision-making levels in management.
• As the person responsible for Enterprise Architecture Management, you will actively participate in the design of the future application landscape, which will be designed in the course of the SAP S/4 transformation.

What you bring with you

• You have successfully completed a university/university of applied sciences degree (business administration, economics, business informatics, computer science) and/or an IT apprenticeship with subsequent further qualification
• You already have several years of professional experience in IT architecture, software development or IT transformations and therefore have a wealth of technical knowledge
• You enjoy and are motivated by working on complex and challenging IT projects and complex IT landscapes
• You are already familiar with EDI processing (ORDERS, INVOIC, DESADV, .) with the help of converters (e.g. Lobster) in conjunction with SAP R3/S4 and have already had contact with enterprise job scheduling/workload automation (e.g. Automic UC4)
• You have strong analytical skills, a very quick grasp and strong communication skills for the presentation of complex issues.
• Experience in project management or similar is desirable, but not a must-have
• Your consultant personality paired with a confident demeanor set you apart
• Strong innovative and solution-oriented thinking are among your strengths
• You have a high level of service orientation as well as team spirit and assertiveness
• Independence, initiative and a high level of commitment round off your profile
