IT Solutions Analyst- Defence

We are seeking a highly skilled and security-cleared Solutions Analyst to support the development of quarantine solutions for security vulnerabilities within our networks. This role is critical in enabling temporary business continuity while long-term remediation or replacement strategies are implemented. The successful candidate will work within a high-security Defence environment, leveraging the customers existing solutions and requirements to define and transform technical solutions into actionable projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and validation of technical and business requirements.
• Identify and define quarantine solutions using Solutions Analysis & Architecture methodologies.
• Build a comprehensive understanding of tool and business process interactions.
• Map processes and IT components to relevant application sets.
• Initiate and lead the scoping phase of proposed solutions.
• Monitor solution alignment with internal stakeholder needs.
• Assess and communicate the impact of proposed changes on business teams and processes.
• Ensure deployed solutions meet organisational and security requirements.
• Support the transformation of defined solutions into executable projects.
• Provide subject matter expertise on risks, issues, and opportunities throughout the solution lifecycle.

• Proven experience in Requirements Scoping & Development.
• Strong capabilities in Process Mapping of Applications.
• Expertise in Technical Solution Design within security-constrained environments.
• Proficiency in Architectural Design Documentation.
• Solid understanding of the Information Systems Lifecycle, including acquisition and development of New & Emerging Technologies and Automation.
• Familiarity with industry infrastructure and operating standards, including:
• SQL
• DB2
• Active Directory (AD)
• Virtual Machines
• WebSphere
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Demonstrated Business Analysis and Project Management capabilities.
• Excellent Stakeholder Management and communication skills.

Security & Eligibility Requirements:

• Must hold current SC or DV Clearance.
• Must be a British National due to the nature of the work and security requirements.
