Job Description - IT Support Analyst

IT Support Analyst

Chester

Â£30,000

ShortList Recruitment has an opportunity for an IT Support Analyst to join our client based in Chester.

The IT Support Analyst will be responsible for 1st & 2nd line support duties and will be a point of contact for all IT support across the business.

Day-to-Day Duties for the IT Support Analyst include but not limited to:

â¢ Updating the Service Desk to maintain a detailed record of all incidents, Service requests and Problems.

â¢ Managing support calls to confirm all data is accurate and updated ensuring service level agreements are achieved.

â¢ Ability to prioritize issues on a case-by-case basis

â¢ Creating and maintaining process documentation

â¢ General Hardware Support (Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Mobiles, Tablets)

â¢ Providing application support

â¢ Maintaining user security across all systems.

â¢ Office O365 Administration/support

â¢ Liaising with 3rd party suppliers.

Required Experience/Skills for the IT Support Analyst:

â¢ A background in IT or Graduate in IT / Computer Science

â¢ Strong communication skills both written and verbal with proven success in a customer service-led environment

â¢ Minimum of 2 yearsâ experience in a similar role.

â¢ Experience working in an ITIL based Service Desk

â¢ Competency with Microsoft Office applications particularly Office O365, including O365 administration.

â¢ Experience with cloud technologies, AWS and Azure is beneficial

â¢ Excellent understanding of Windows 10

â¢ Working in an Agile Cloud environment

â¢ A positive outlook and a "can do attitude"

â¢ A flexible, hands-on team player who is keen to learn and progress

The role is based in Chester and is commutable from Chester, Wirral, North Wales, and Liverpool.
