Job Description - IT Support Engineer

Profectus are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join a growing IT team at a leading company. Based just outside of Peterborough, this role requires travel to other offices, so a full driving license and access to a vehicle with business insurance are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide IT support to staff, both remotely and in person.
  • Identify and resolve IT issues efficiently.
  • Install and maintain desktop/server software and hardware.
  • Develop and improve IT infrastructure.
  • Perform proactive server and desktop maintenance.
  • Research and implement new technologies.
  • Troubleshoot advanced technical issues.
  • Create support documentation and assist in user training.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server 2016/19/22,
  • Knowledge of Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory/GPO.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience troubleshooting networks (wired/wireless) and TCP/IP.
Other:
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle during working hours.
