An excellent opportunity awaits a skilled IT Support Engineer/Admin to join an established business in a role offering great progression pathways, training and benefits.

This company is an established global engineering company known for developing energy efficient solutions.

In this role, you'd be responsible for managing the day-to-day IT support for the Ireland based side of the business, working closely with the global IT team to make sure everything runs smoothly and in line with company-wide standards. You'd be the go-to person for anything tech-related on site, supporting colleagues and keeping software, servers and hardware running reliably and securely.

The ideal candidate for this role will have commercial experience in an IT Support Engineer role, ideally with a strong understanding of Active Directory and Hyper-V. The right person for this role will have a solid understanding of IT best practices, experience working with hardware and good communication skills. This role will be four days in the office and one day working from home after probation, but to start with you'll be in the office 5 days per week.

The Role:
*Overseeing day-to-day IT support for businesses Ireland based employees.
*Work closely with Global IT team, escalating more serious issues to them
*Overseeing software, maintenance, configuration, administration of software and hardware
*Office based 4 days in office, 1 day from home following probation

The Person:
*Commercial experience as an IT Support Engineer/Admin
*Strong experience dealing with software, servers and hardware
*Ideally experience with Hyper-V and/or Active Directory
*Strong communication skills
