Technical Support Engineer – Permanent
Location: Colchester (on-site)

We’re looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing company on the outskirts of Colchester. This is a permanent, full-time role offering the chance to support a wide range of systems and technologies within a well-established business.

You’ll be the first point of contact for IT support queries, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across both office and manufacturing environments. This is a great opportunity for a junior IT professional building their career or an experienced engineer seeking a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1st and 2nd line support across the business
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
Support Microsoft 365 and critical business applications
Server Administration / SQL Management
Contribute to IT projects and improvements

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in a 1st/2nd Line Support role
Previous Server Administration experience
Strong Active Directory experience
SQL Management experience
Good communication and problem-solving skills
