The Opportunity A modern and forward-thinking IT services provider is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join its growing team. Focused on supporting startups and scaling businesses, this company offers sustainable IT solutions and secure cyber infrastructure that enable growth and innovation.
The Role This is a hands-on, client-facing position offering 1st and 2nd line technical support. You will resolve IT issues efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. The role involves day-to-day troubleshooting, onboarding support, and managing devices and cloud platforms. You will work closely with senior engineers and gain exposure to a broad range of tools and technologies across both Apple and Microsoft environments.
What You’ll Need:
1 to 2 years of experience in a helpdesk or service desk role (experience with an MSP is a strong advantage)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Confidence in managing support tickets and working to SLAs
Experience supporting both Windows and Mac devices
Basic administration skills in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, including SharePoint
Exposure to Intune for device deployment or configuration
Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Autotask, ConnectWise, or ServiceNow
Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles (endpoint protection, antivirus, VPNs, MDMs)
Excellent communication skills, especially when supporting non-technical users
Desirable Experience:
Administration of SharePoint and Teams
Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or command line)
Experience with Azure AD or Entra ID (e.g. MFA resets, account support)
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support across multiple client environments
Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and connectivity issues
Manage support tickets and ensure timely resolution in line with SLAs
Assist with user onboarding, device provisioning, and account setup
Support deployments and configurations through Intune
Monitor and escalate potential security concerns
Maintain internal and client-facing documentation
Collaborate with senior engineers on escalations and continuous service improvement
Deliver friendly, professional customer service at all times
