IT Support Engineer - 1st / 2nd Line

You will work with the Head of IT and support their entire IT estate - connectivity, desktop, servers, virtualisation, security, cloud and networking and manage small IT infrastructure projects, systems installations, and rollouts. 

 And the best bit is,  what you don’t know you’ll get plenty of chance to learn! 

The variation and diversity in this role is the big selling point, and with Microsoft certifications up for grabs, this opportunity will give you the learning and development that will increase your market value significantly. Taking you from 1st to 2nd to 3rd line support within the next 12-18 months!

 

The ideal candidate

We’re looking for a smart person with good energy levels and a willingness to learn fast. We want to find an IT Support Engineer that is not afraid to go away and work things out, and find solutions.

We need an IT Support Engineer who can think on their feet, build good relationships with users and assist in running projects and is calm and methodical.

1. Min of 24 months years experience working in IT Support


2. Willing to work Coalville - 10 minutes of M1


3. You have experience of service desk and/or IT Support


4. You’ll have some server-side experience and know your way around Active Directory


5. You’ll  have some basic knowledge of networking and connectivity


6. You’ll understand the basic principles behind cloud computing


7. You’ll have experience supporting Windows 10 and Office 365
