Job Description - IT Support Engineer - Team Lead

Job Description

Role:

As part of a small, friendly support team, you will work directly onsite to provide dedicated and highly-focused support services for deskside and print.

As the Technical Team Lead, you will provide hands-on support for your team, becoming the trusted go-to person when extra help is needed. Leading by example, you will work closely with your SDM to ensure that the team is working both efficiently and pragmatically.

As is typical with any hands-on role, you will maintain your technical capabilities resolving tickets with your team, but your breadth of experience and capabilities in identifying the best solution will lead you to involvement with the more complex of issues, the more challenging and the higher profile engagements - the perfect environment to hone your technical and leadership skills.

This is a role where you will have direct influence on people’s day-to-day working life. With nothing more frustrating than a computer or a printer not working, you will be the very person that makes things happen, working directly with the users in a highly rewarding way.

Requirements:

Previous experience in technical environment, ideally within a leadership or senior role
A friendly, engaging and professional demeanor as a primary “face” of Hemmersbach
Expert in a number of current desktop tech inc. Operation Systems, Office, Active Directory, Exchange and Apple
Thrives in an agile and rapid-paced environment – suited to an energetic individual, happy to “roll their sleeves
The role may be subject to enhanced references and vetting
