Job Description - IT Support Engineer Urgent

A leading financial services organisation is looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join their London-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-performing environment, providing hands-on support across a wide range of technologies.
You’ll support around 100 users across multiple offices, taking ownership of 1st and 2nd line tasks with exposure to 3rd line support. The role covers everything from desktop and network support to cloud platforms and endpoint management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide daily support across desktops, networks, telephony, video conferencing, and mobile devices
• Monitor and maintain local IT infrastructure, including backups, storage, and virtualisation
• Support cloud and collaboration tools: Azure, Microsoft 365, Citrix, Intune, Teams/Zoom
• Administer mobile devices via MS Intune & Endpoint
• Produce clear documentation and follow IT procedures
• Liaise confidently with staff and external partners at all levels

Skills & Experience:
• 3+ years in IT support roles (1st/2nd line), ideally within financial services or a corporate environment
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Citrix
• Experience with telephony systems, voice recording, and endpoint security tools
• Understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN/VLAN), scripting (PowerShell, Python), and SQL
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable Qualifications:
• Degree in IT or a related field
• Certifications such as CCNA or Microsoft Azure (not essential)
