The Role

As UP3 continues its trajectory of growth and digital innovation, we are seeking an adept IT Service Lead to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will initially focus on the seamless orchestration of our IT operations, ranging from Microsoft technologies to supplier management and strategic initiatives. As a key player in our journey, the chosen candidate will be instrumental in shaping our internal IT landscape. Anticipating our evolving needs, this role is poised to transform into an Internal IT Strategic Lead, contributing to the strategic vision of our organization. Technology Landscape:

Master Microsoft Windows, O365, InTune Endpoint Manager, Azure, and security solutions like Microsoft Defender for Endpoints.
Navigate the intricacies of Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Exclaimer Auto-Signature, LastPass, and other key platforms.

Daily Operations:

Oversee commercial and billing support, ensuring financial alignment.
Manage supplier relationships and licensing for optimum operational efficiency.
Drive the meticulous execution of laptop builds, ensuring each device is a productivity powerhouse.
Facilitate seamless onboarding for new hires and handle the departure process with grace for leavers.
Be the go-to for end-user support, providing swift resolution to IT challenges.
Implement and enforce policies, conducting regular compliance audits.
Lead software updates and deployment strategies, ensuring business continuity.
Vigilantly manage vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
Steer UP3 asset management and facilitate the Cyber Essentials renewal process.
Execute ad-hoc PowerShell scripts and maintain the integrity of IT policies.
Manage UP3 directory systems, offer executive support, and oversee the tech ecosystem.

Strategic Initiatives:

Lead the charge towards ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications, fortifying our commitment to security.
Navigate the GDPR landscape, ensuring our operations align seamlessly with data protection regulations.
Spearhead strategic technology procurement, aligning tools with business evolution.
Conduct value assessments, refining best practices for enhanced operational efficiency.
Champion technical training and certifications to empower our team.
Implement robust BYOD/CYOD controls for compliance assurance.
Drive internal ServiceNow adoption and chart a course for future business software support and road mapping.
Oversee mobile device management, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Qualifications and Expertise:

Proven experience in a strategic IT leadership role.
Expertise in Microsoft technologies and administration.
Demonstrated proficiency in supplier management and licensing.
Comprehensive understanding of GDPR, data protection, and compliance standards.
Familiarity with Cyber Essentials and adeptness with security/compliance tools.
Strategic mindset, aligning IT initiatives seamlessly with broader business objectives.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Bonus points for relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies, Cyber Essentials, and ISO 27001.
