Junior IT Support Specialist

This small but established and dynamic FX company is committed to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. As they expand our IT infrastructure, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior IT Support Specialist to join our team.

They are seeking a Junior IT Support Specialist with a passion for technology and a strong desire to grow in the IT field. The successful candidate will support our IT operations within an Azure and ITIL framework, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of IT services across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support for IT issues, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining our Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Follow ITIL best practices to handle incidents, requests, and changes efficiently.
  • Monitor system performance and security, identifying and resolving potential issues.
  • Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement new technologies and upgrades.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and updates for IT systems and applications.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of Azure cloud services and ITIL principles.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, ITIL Foundation) are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Prior experience in an IT support role is advantageous but not required.
