Position: IT Support Technician
Location: Sheffield + travel within 100-mile radius
Driving Licence and Vehicle: Required (mileage paid at 40p per mile)
Rate: £150-£170 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Initial Contract Term: 2 months (likely extension to 4 months)

An organisation in Sheffield is on the lookout for an IT Support Technician to join their IT Support team to provide temporary cover, supporting around 1000 users via the service desk, also assisting on a current major project.

They need assistance covering IT Support (1st/2nd Line) to resolve user support tickets, maintain systems, and help deliver IT projects. One project includes travelling to different sites across the North/Midlands, so you must be happy with this travel aspect and hold a licence with access to your own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Working alongside other members of the IT Team to troubleshoot and resolve any IT issues
• Supporting up to 1000 users
• Upgrading and maintaining the company’s infrastructure
• Attending project work on different sites
