IT Support Technician

Join our clients Group IT team, where you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality technical support across multiple departments and companies.

• Provide first and second-line support via a central help desk.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with IT and telephony equipment.
• Monitor IT systems proactively to ensure efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Carry out planned maintenance with minimal disruption to core business functions.
• Liaise with third-party suppliers and support providers.
• Maintain system and user security, including access control and password management.
• Contribute to a culture of continual improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
• Ensure all work adheres to Health & Safety and company guidelines.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a 1st/2nd line IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft 365, Office Suite, and Active Directory.
• Solid understanding of basic networking (DHCP, DNS, routing).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities.
• Awareness of Health & Safety practices.

• Experience with Entra (Azure), Intune.
• PBX Management/Maintenance.
• Knowledge of enhanced networking.
• VMWare experience.
• Backup and data storage management skills.
