The Opportunity
Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing organisation seeking an IT Systems Support Engineer to join its busy IT team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive IT professional who enjoys solving technical challenges, supporting end users, and contributing to the development of business systems. Alongside day-to-day support responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to work on software enhancements, reporting, and wider IT improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support to users across the business
* Configure new users, devices, and system access
* Resolve hardware, software, and network issues
* Perform administration of PCs, servers, and infrastructure
* Assist with system upgrades and improvement projects
* Create and maintain technical documentation
* Identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
* Support reporting and data extraction using SQL
* Contribute to software development and system enhancements
* Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety requirements
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Good written communication skills
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows 10/11/Server
Desirable
* Networking knowledge including VLANs, routing, wireless and firewalls
* VMware and virtualisation experience
* C#, .NET, ASP WebForms or WinForms experience
* SQL Server and reporting knowledge
* Experience using ticketing systems
