VIQU are partnering with a leading manufacturing organisation who are seeking an experienced IT Systems Manager to take full ownership of their IT infrastructure, ERP systems, and bespoke applications. Candidates with strong 3rd line or infrastructure application support experience looking to progress into IT management are welcome.

Key Responsibilities of the IT Systems Manager:

• Manage and maintain on-premise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and virtual environments.
• Lead development, automation, and support of ERP systems and custom business applications.
• Provide a mix of hands-on IT support and project work to drive business growth and system improvements.
• Collaborate with senior management to ensure IT strategy supports company expansion plans.
• Ensure IT systems are secure, reliable, and highly available through proactive maintenance.
• Travel between sites (Coleshill, Kitts Green) as needed.
• Deliver proactive, high-quality IT solutions without reliance on a helpdesk ticket system.

Key Requirements of the IT Systems Manager:

• Experience with ERP systems in manufacturing, including Bill of Materials and production workflows.
• Expert SQL skills, capable of writing, optimising, and troubleshooting complex database queries and stored procedures.
• Proven ability managing on-premise infrastructure: servers, SAN/NAS storage, VMware (vSphere & ESXi), and network hardware (Ubiquiti, Cisco).
• Proficiency with Microsoft server technologies and cloud services: Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, Intune.
• Experience customising Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and developing Power BI dashboards.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
