Location: Bridge of Allan and Perth
Salary: Up to £50,000, depending on experience
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00

Occasional flexibility may be required to support operational needs or planned project activity. Where possible, any requirement to work outside the standard operating hours will be planned in advance.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on IT Team Leader to support two Manufacturing sites and lead a team of three IT Technicians.

You will help ensure that local IT services remain reliable, secure and responsive to the needs of the business. You will remain actively involved in technical support and problem-solving while providing guidance and development opportunities for the onsite team.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Ensure reliable and secure IT services across two manufacturing sites, helping to minimise downtime and improve service delivery.

* Lead and develop a team of three IT Technicians, providing guidance, support and technical expertise.

* Remain actively involved in IT support and problem-solving, assisting with technical issues where required.

* Support and improve factory-floor applications, including product traceability and labelling systems.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver local IT projects and service improvements.

* Help maintain a secure and resilient IT environment that supports day-to-day business operations.

* Coordinate priorities across both sites and ensure users are kept informed during incidents, planned changes and improvement activities.

What You’ll Need

* Practical experience providing hands-on IT support and troubleshooting technical issues.

* Experience supporting Microsoft technologies and business IT infrastructure.

* The ability to approach technical problems in a structured and practical way.

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills will be important, as you will work closely with IT colleagues, site teams and other business stakeholders.

* An interest in mentoring and developing other members of an IT team.

* A full UK driving licence and access to personal transport, as regular travel between both sites will be required.

* Microsoft 365 and Windows-based environments

* Networking, including switches, wireless networks and structured cabling.

* Virtualised server environments.

* IT projects and service improvement activities.

* Manufacturing, Production or other business systems.
