A bit about the role and you
The Technical Architect provides a bridge between understanding business needs and technological solutions while acting as a gatekeeper between the Charity and our Managed Service provider for technical IT solutions.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
To design and evaluate systems architectures, which include infrastructure, storage repository creation and system diagrams.
You will be responsible for the physical design of technical solutions and formulating plans to deliver those solutions. Focus on building a technical strategy/roadmap as part of the wider IT strategy.
To work with the wider project team, e.g., IT Project Managers, Advanced (Managed Service Provider), and IT Security, to effectively deliver solutions.
The ideal candidate will have;
Overall System Design knowledge
Extensive Technical expertise
Embedding security by design
Good verbal communication skills
Strong Technical Authoring skills
Problem-Solving skills
Visualisation of Charity wants to Technical hows
Good Time Management
Experience working in a Microsoft environment
