Role: IT Technician
Location: Nottingham - Long Eaton
Salary: £25,000 - £33,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role:

You'll be the first point of contact for technical support within a busy software development environment. From troubleshooting hardware and software issues to managing user accounts and supporting remote infrastructure, your work will keep the business running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support to internal users
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Maintain and monitor IT systems and infrastructure
• Set up and configure new user accounts, hardware, and software
• Liaise with third-party suppliers and service providers
• Ensure security and data protection protocols are followed

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a similar IT support or technician role
• Strong knowledge of Windows environments, Office 365, and remote desktop tools
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities remotely

Desirable:

• Experience supporting a software development environment
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
• Any relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.)
