This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to inspire students and foster a love of the Italian language and culture. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Italian lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and ideally Key Stage 5.


• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.


• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.


• Maintain accurate records of student attainment and progress.


• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.


• Collaborate with colleagues within the MFL department.


• Contribute to the development of the Italian curriculum.


• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians.


• Adhere to all school safeguarding policies.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Proven experience teaching Italian at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).


• Native or near-native fluency in Italian.


• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Italian language and culture.


• Strong classroom management skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.


• Commitment to continuous professional development.
