Jetting Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a HGV Jetting Assistant to join our team in Stafford, you will be working closely with the HGV Jetting Operative to carry out high pressure jetting.  

About the role:

• Salary: £13.50 per hour


• Location: Stafford


• Hours: 47.5 hours per week Mon-Fri with some weekends required


• Weekly pay

Responsibilities:

• Assist the HGV jetting operator in setting up and operating high-pressure water jetting equipment. Operating machinery and tools safely.


• Carry out inspections & identify possible blockages, leaks and resolve the issues.


• Updating and completing site documentation using electronic tablet


• Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of work and follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment and report any issues.


• Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.


• Wearing and maintaining any Personal Protective Equipment provided for your protection at all times.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Full UK driving license, with no more than 6 penalty points


• Training will be provided on: Water Jetting Association Red or blue book, Banksman, NRSWA, EUSR National Water Hygiene, Medium risk confined space.
