Jetting Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Jetting Engineer to join our Washington, Tyne & Wear Depot, this role involves identifying defects and blockages within the sewer network and using high pressure water jetting to clean and clear. The role is a Monday to Friday 40 hours per week

As a Jetting Engineer, you will:

• You will be working closely in a team of 2 operating high specification jetting and vacuumation units.


• Assist with remote CCTV investigations where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.


• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.


• Liaising with customers.


• Updating electronical records.


• Ensuring safety issues are reported.


• Vehicle and Jetting Equipment checks

Experience and qualifications required for the role: 

• Full UK License with no more than 6 penalty points ideally


• Competent in using an electronic device – laptop / tablet for data entry. 


• Previous experience within the drainage industry would be ideal, with valid tickets.
