Jira & ServiceNow Integration Developer/Consultant

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Jira-ServiceNow Integration Developer to design, develop, and support integrations between Atlassian Jira/Jira Service Management and ServiceNow platforms. The rolewillfocusonautomatingworkflows,synchronisingtickets,incidents,changes,andservicerequests,anddeliveringseamlessenterpriseintegrationsusingAPIsandmiddlewaretechnologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design andimplementbidirectionalintegrationsbetweenJiraandServiceNow.

Develop REST/SOAPAPI-basedintegrationsandautomationworkflows.

Configure ticketsynchronisationforIncidents,Problems,Changes,Tasks,andServiceRequests.

Build customscripts,businessrules,FlowDesignerworkflows,ScriptIncludes,andintegrationcomponentswithinServiceNow.

Configure Jiraautomations,webhooks,andworkflowtransitions.

Troubleshoot integrationissuesandperformrootcauseanalysis.

Collaborate withbusinessstakeholderstogatherrequirementsanddefineintegrationarchitecture.

Ensure security,audit,compliance,anddatagovernancerequirementsaremet.

Prepare technicaldocumentation,runbooks,andknowledgetransfermaterials.

Support UAT,productiondeployments,andongoingplatformenhancements.

Mandatory Skills

Strong ServiceNowdevelopmentexperience(ITSMpreferred).

Experience withthird-partyintegrationsandRESTAPIs.

ServiceNow FlowDesigner,BusinessRules,ScriptIncludes,ClientScripts.

JavaScript developmentexpertise.

Jira AdministrationandJiraServiceManagement.

Experience withJirawebhooks,automationrules,andworkflowconfiguration.

API integration,JSON/XMLpayloadhandling.

Agile /Scrumdeliveryexperience.Preferred Skills

ServiceNow CSA/CADcertification.

Experience withIntegrationHub.

Experience withmiddlewaretools(MuleSoft,Boomi,Workato,etc.).

ITIL Foundationcertification.

Experience inenterprisetransformationandservicemanagementprogrammes.
