Contract: Permanent Salary: £32,000 per annum (overtime arrangements or fixed project bonus apply for week-long projects, so earnings can vary depending on the work undertaken. This will be explained in more detail during the interview process) Hours of work: Successful Engineers will be working away from home for most of the year, often for full working weeks, so candidates must be comfortable with this commitment. This could be in UK, Ireland, Europe and beyond About the Role Working as part of the HSD /FMP division (for both internal and external customers) to maximise customer satisfaction through technical ability, and efficient Installs and flushing of wide-ranging systems. (Junior Role). Key activities: Site Installs and Flushing: Calibration and Fluid Monitoring. This activity takes place often on remote sites away from Swansea HQ. Skills Physically active and able to work in occasional inhospitable environments. Site working. ]Sound Industrial Engineering Plumbing & Water treatment experience. Understanding of chemical dosing. Experience of project management. (Desirable but not essential) Knowledge of BSRIA BG29 & BG50 guidance. This can be supported by Senior Team and will be a learning requirement. Familiar with HSE ACOP L8, specifically HSG274 Part 1, 2 & 3. (This would be supported). Base Knowledge of corrosion chemistry. Good teamwork and people management skills, for working with colleagues and clients. Problem-solving ability Ability to interpret technical reports and guidance request. IT knowledge and a willingness to learn new systems Self-motivation and a proactive approach to work. Good time management skills. A flexible approach to work and a willingness to take on new challenges A full clean driving licence. Duties Travel to customer sites to complete site surveys as part of sales engineering works. Action and complete scope of work and ensure that project is completed to deadline. Review and implement internal documentation control associated to FMS/FMP processes Liaise with various bodies and individuals, including, clients, contractors, residents, suppliers, technical experts, and other consultants. support other project managers, sales engineers, department managers and directors within the business and across the wider market keep up to date with environmental matters, and be aware of policy and developments in this area In-line with company expectations, professionally develop through accredited training schemes that add value to the role and FMS/FMP department.
