Job Description: Part-Qualified Corporate Accountant - Open to Perm or Contract

We are seeking a driven and meticulous Part-Qualified Corporate Accountant to join our finance team based in the heart of Mayfair. This is a high-visibility role within a premier Asset Management firm, offering the chance to gain deep exposure to corporate accounting, regulatory reporting, and the operational nuances of the investment sector.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Financial Controller, supporting the day-to-day financial management of our corporate entities while progressing toward their professional qualification.

1. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee the end-to-end processing of invoices, expense claims, and intercompany billings.
3. Treasury Management: Monitor daily cash flows, perform bank reconciliations, and assist in liquidity forecasting.
4. Audit & Compliance: Act as a key point of contact during year-end audits; assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and VAT returns.
5. Regulatory Support: Support the team in gathering data for FCA regulatory filings (e.g., IFPR reporting).
6. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and enhance the robustness of internal controls.
