Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and innovative music lessons to Key Stages 3, 4, and 5


• Design and implement a comprehensive music curriculum that aligns with the national curriculum standards


• Foster a love for music through diverse activities, including instrumental tuition, ensembles, choirs, and music theory


• Prepare students for examinations and performances, ensuring they reach their full potential


• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school's overall music program


• Stay current with the latest developments in music education pedagogy

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification


• Proven experience teaching music in a secondary school setting


• Strong instrumental and/or vocal proficiency


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
