We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic English teacher to join our dynamic department within a thriving West London Catholic secondary school. Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Curriculum Delivery:
  
  
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and stimulating English lessons across the curriculum, catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11) in line with the National Curriculum.
  
  
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students can develop their literacy skills effectively (phonics, reading comprehension, writing fluency, grammar, vocabulary acquisition).
  
  
  • Develop a love for reading and writing, encouraging exploration of a wide range of texts (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, drama) and fostering critical analysis skills (close reading, identifying themes, character development, literary devices).

  Build strong and positive relationships with students, fostering their confidence in written and verbal communication within a faith-based environment.
