About the Role: In this position, you will plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons, develop a stimulating curriculum, and support students in participating in school productions and extracurricular drama activities. You will also collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Drama department’s teaching and learning strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Drama lessons that engage and challenge students.


• Develop and implement a creative and effective curriculum that meets educational standards.


• Encourage student participation in school plays, productions, and extracurricular drama activities.


• Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their development in Drama.


• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and confidence.

Requirements:

• Degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Proven experience teaching Drama at the secondary school level.


• Strong knowledge of the Drama curriculum and current teaching practices.


• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
