About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Year 5 Teacher for a one-year maternity cover starting June 2025. As a Year 5 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to prepare students for their transition into Year 6. You will work to ensure that all students feel supported, confident, and challenged in their learning, while nurturing their academic and personal growth.

Your Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons for Year 5


• 
  Assess student progress and provide regular feedback


• Support students’ academic growth and prepare them for Year 6
  


• Encourage a positive and inclusive classroom culture


• Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure student success
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


• Experience in teaching Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 5)
  


• Strong classroom management skills and a positive approach to teaching


• Ability to differentiate lessons to meet individual needs
  


• A passion for nurturing academic achievement and personal development
