Labourer / Multi-Skilled Operative – Carpentry Experience

We are currently looking for an experienced Labourer / Multi-Skilled Operative with carpentry/chippy experience to join a 10–12 week temporary project working within an existing live care home.

This is a hands-on role, primarily involving general labouring and assisting trades on site, with some basic carpentry duties as and when required.

General hands-on labouring duties

Assisting trades and site management

Moving materials and keeping work areas clean and tidy

*

Basic carpentry/chippy works where required

*

Helping with deliveries and general site requirements

*

Working safely and professionally within a live care home environment

*

Being mindful and respectful of residents, staff and visitors at all times

Requirements

*

Previous construction/site experience essential

*

Carpentry/chippy experience preferred

*

Valid CSCS card

*

Own PPE

*

Reliable, hardworking and comfortable getting stuck into general labouring

*

Good communication and a professional attitude are essential due to the live care home environment

*

References will be required

Payment: CIS or PAYE available
Rate: Rates vary depending on payment method and experience
