Joiners / Carpenters – Ongoing Work

Location: Cuddington, Cheshire & surrounding areas
Job Type: Self-Employed / CIS
Pay: £175 per day, with opportunity to increase
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
Duration: Ongoing
Start: ASAP following a successful trial period

We are currently recruiting experienced Joiners / Carpenters to join a busy and expanding building contractor based in Cuddington, Cheshire.

There is ongoing work across multiple projects, including new builds, extensions, renovations and refurbishments, with the opportunity to secure a long-term position and progress within the company.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable, skilled joiner with experience carrying out general carpentry and joinery work across building projects.

Work may include:

* First and second fix joinery

* Door hanging and fitting

* Skirting boards, architraves and finishing work

* Timber framing and general carpentry

* Joinery on new builds and extensions

* Renovations and refurbishments

* General building and repair work

* £175 per day to start

* Company van available after a few weeks, once you've proved yourself

* Van available for personal use

* Your own petrol/fuel costs covered by you; the company covers other running costs

* Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm

* Work across Cuddington and surrounding Cheshire areas

* Self-employed / CIS basis

* Immediate start following a successful trial

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Joiner / Carpenter

* Good standard of workmanship and attention to detail

* Reliable, hardworking and professional

* Able to work independently and as part of a team

* Own tools and transport preferred initially

* NVQ and CSCS desirable but not essential

* Willing to complete a short trial period to demonstrate your skills

* Full UK driving licence required for the company van opportunity
