Joiner Multitrader

8 Month Contract With A Local Authority

To carry out high-quality joinery and multi-trade maintenance work on vacant (void) council properties, ensuring homes are refurbished efficiently and to a high standard so they are ready for new residents as quickly as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of joinery repairs and installations, including hanging doors and fitting complete kitchens.
  


• Complete basic plumbing tasks as required.
  


• Undertake wall tiling to a good standard.
  


• Carry out general multi-trade maintenance work within void properties.
  


• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
  


• Work as part of the Voids Team to help minimise property turnaround times.
  


• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
  


• Use Council-provided vehicle responsibly and in accordance with relevant policies.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in joinery and general property maintenance.
  


• Strong carpentry skills, including door hanging and kitchen fitting.
  


• Basic plumbing skills.
  


• Experience carrying out wall tiling.
  


• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
  


• Own set of trade tools is essential.
  


• Full UK driving licence

• Hours per Week: 37 Hours
