Joinery Site Manager - The Opportunity

An established specialist joinery and fit-out contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Joinery Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of high-quality joinery projects in Chertsey, Surrey.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Joinery Site Manager to join a respected contractor with a strong reputation for delivering bespoke joinery and interior fit-out works across commercial and residential projects.

The successful Joinery Site Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest standards of workmanship.

Joinery Site Manager - Key Responsibilities

Oversee the installation and delivery of bespoke architectural joinery and interior fit-out packages.

Manage site operatives, specialist subcontractors and installation teams.

Coordinate materials, deliveries and site logistics to maintain project programmes.

Monitor workmanship, quality control and compliance with drawings and specifications.

Liaise with clients, main contractors, architects and project teams.

Ensure health and safety procedures are followed, including RAMS and site inspections.

Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays and maintain project progress.

Joinery Site Manager - Experience Required

Previous experience as a Joinery Site Manager, Site Supervisor or Fit-Out Site Manager.

Strong background in bespoke joinery, carpentry or specialist interior fit-out works.

Experience managing joinery installations on commercial, residential or high-end refurbishment projects.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction specifications.

Excellent organisational, communication and subcontractor management skills.

Valid SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS card and First Aid at Work certification.

A relevant qualification in Carpentry and Joinery, Construction Management or a related discipline, such as an NVQ Level 3 or above, is desirable.
