Currently the company is launching a new digital trade news publication for the sustainability industry.

The Role
As a Journalist you will work on makes a good news story and is able to identify stories that target the right audience. The role involves writing industry news stories and compelling features, representing the company at industry events and interviewing senior leaders in the sustainability industry.

Key Responsibilities of this Journalist- Sustainability position –

New content creation/ stories throughout the day for digital news publication
Writing and sub-editing of articles in sustainability sector facing biggest challenges
Drive maximize visibility through SEO strategies and social media
Research news stories that would be of interest to target audience
Constant update on global news
Build relationships and networking with senior business leaders though interviews and events.
Comply with industry and ethical guidelines.

Requirements for this Journalist- Sustainability position –

1+ year of journalism experience and a portfolio of published articles.
Experience of trade or B2B journalism
Excellent writing, editing, grammatical and proof-reading skills
Accuracy and eye to detail.
Ability to work independently and enthusiastically as part of a wider team of 10 journalists
Research using multiple sources
Google Analytics, WordPress, SEO techniques is desirable
