A well-established and reputable firm of Chartered Accountants based in Tunbridge Wells, is looking for an Accounts Assistant / Junior Accountant to join their growing practice. This firm prides itself on offering a highly personalised service to a varied portfolio of clients across different sectors.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting in the preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Supporting the preparation of VAT returns and bookkeeping using cloud accounting software
• Reconciling bank accounts and maintaining accurate financial records
• Liaising directly with clients to request information and resolve queries
• Assisting with management accounts and tax computations (training provided)
• Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks

About you:

• You may be part-qualified or fully-qualified in a recognised accounting qualification
• Some previous experience in practice (2yrs+ but open to consider all applications)
• Confident using software such as Xero, QuickBooks or similar
• Keen to grow your skills in a supportive environment where you're more than just a number

Salary is dependent on experience. + bonus + benefits! Higher salaries can be discussed.
