A leading business based in central Brighton is seeking a proactive and motivated finance professional to join their growing team.

This is a broad and varied role offering excellent exposure across all areas of finance, with direct access to the Financial Controller and clear opportunities for development. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales ledger and account reconciliations, along with a strong eye for detail and a collaborative approach.

You’ll be part of a small, supportive team in a busy and vibrant office environment, with full study support on offer and genuine prospects for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce standard monthly and quarterly client statements.
• Process client fund transfers using the companies software and online banking.
• Respond to and resolve client enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Support the setup of new accounts and closure of old ones, including interpreting financial data and preparing reconciliations.
• Assist in producing non-standard monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Support the preparation of service charge year-end accounts.
• Contribute to the preparation of VAT returns.
• Provide cover for daily system reconciliations and monthly reconciliations
