A professional local firm of Accountants are in need of a Junior Accountant who is at the start of their career in accountancy to join their team, this is an exciting role filled with lots of challenge and variety.

Some of your duties will include:

- Supporting the Accountant with the management of a large portfolio of client accounts

- Working on behalf of a wide range of clients including sole traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies

- Assisting with the bookkeeping and payroll production on behalf of clients on a monthly basis

- Calculating, preparing and producing VAT returns and compiling HMRC submissions

- Assisting with the production of profit and loss reports and reconciling balance sheets

- Preparing annual accounts and submitting statutory returns to Companies House
