Junior Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Assistant to support our cleints finance operations. Day-to-day of the role:

As a Junior Accounts Assistant, you will engage in a variety of accounting tasks crucial for the smooth operation of our finance department. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies.
• Preparing and processing payment runs, including processing high-value invoices.
• Supporting month-end close activities, such as managing accruals and prepayments.
• Conducting bank reconciliations and providing general ledger support.
• Handling invoice and expense processing along with other general finance administrative duties.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ideal candidates will either be actively pursuing an AAT qualification or have approximately 6 months of experience in an accounts role.
• You must demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Excellent organisational skills are essential, as you will manage multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising the quality of your work.
