Location: Harrogate
Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 + study support
Hours: Full-time with flexible start times

A Chartered Accountancy practice located in Harrogate, committed to providing excellent service are seeking a motivated Accounts Assistant to join their team.

This role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in accountancy within a supportive environment. We provide comprehensive AAT study support and on-the-job training, with potential progression towards ACCA qualifications for those aspiring to become chartered accountants.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and management accounts under supervision.
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks using software like Xero and Quickbooks (training provided if necessary).
• Support senior accountants with client queries and general administrative duties.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of client deliverables.

Requirements:
• Accountancy Practice experience, min 1 year
• IT literate, with familiarity in accounting software such as Xero and Quickbooks preferred (training available)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and willingness to learn
