Junior Artworker

We have a fantastic opportunity for a school or college leaver with an interest in design. As a Junior Artworker, you will work closely with experienced team members to prepare and finalise artwork. You will be responsible for ensuring that customer designs are ready for production, following set quality and technical standards. Full training will be provided, with the chance to learn and grow within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare artwork files for production, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Follow customer briefs and adapt files to meet specific production formats.
• Identify and correct any design or formatting issues prior to production.
• Support in preparing artwork
• Save and manage artwork files correctly using internal systems.
• Re-draw or edit artwork and layouts when required.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure artwork is suitable and approved for production.
• Meet deadlines while managing multiple artwork tasks simultaneously.

What We're Looking For:

• A passion for design and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Willingness to learn and follow technical requirements for artwork setup.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Organised and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Willingness to support safety and best practice within the workplace.

Desirable (but not essential):

• Familiarity with file management and cloud-based systems (e.g., SharePoint).
• Fire Marshal or Health & Safety awareness (training can be provided).
