Do you have an Engineering or Electronics degree? On offer is the opportunity to join a growing Automation company who provide design and manufacture solutions for many different clients and partners around the world, which include turnkey control and automation packages. They have created a global client base by providing engineering solutions ranging from manufacturing / production companies, automotive suppliers and beyond.

This role requires you to be involved in the full product life cycle, from conception to completion. You will be involved in quoting the initial design, producing the specifications, authorising PLC / HMI software through to the testing and commissioning of the system upon installation at the client's site. You will predominantly work on Siemens TIA Portal, PID Tuning and Analogue programming including ladder logic and structured text.

This role would suit a Junior Engineer from an Automation, Software or Controls background looking to join a longstanding company, who offer the ability to make a real difference to their clients, support to progress technically and the potential for progression into senior positions.

The Role:

• Producing detailed PLC programs in both Ladder Logic and Structured Text
• Full Project Life cycle from quotation to commissioning
• Liaising with Customers and Clients
• Monday to Friday - Flexible Hours
• Siemens TIA Portal, PID Tuning and Analogue programming

The Person:

• Automation, Software or Controls Engineer background
• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Commutable to Reading
