We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our dynamic procurement team. This new position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their career in supply chain management and purchasing.

The Junior Buyer will assist in sourcing products, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that our inventory levels meet the demands of the business. This role requires a keen understanding of logistics and supply chain processes, as well as proficiency in relevant purchasing systems.

Duties

• Assist in the procurement of goods and services by identifying potential suppliers and evaluating their offerings.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to secure the best possible deals for the company.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information within purchasing systems
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in forecasting future supply needs based on sales trends and market analysis.
• Support senior buyers in developing strategies for cost reduction and supplier performance improvement.

Skills

• Proficiency in purchasing systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, or Edwards is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics management.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Familiarity with market trends and the ability to sell ideas effectively to stakeholders.
