Are you currently a junior fee earner or paralegal within a residential property team? Are you looking for a new challenge where you can continue to learn and be given the opportunity to grow your career at the same time? If so, we may just have the role for you.
As a Junior Conveyancer, you will be an integral part of our clients residential property team. You will assist with a variety of conveyancing transactions from start to finish, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. This role is designed for someone who is passionate about property law and is eager to develop their skills in a supportive and professional environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist senior conveyancers with managing a caseload of residential property transactions.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documents.
- Conduct property searches and review search results.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other solicitors to ensure smooth and timely transactions.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of Land Registry applications.
- Provide regular updates to clients on the progress of their transactions.
- Maintain accurate and organised case files and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
**Qualifications and Skills:**
- Previous experience as a junior fee earner or paralegal within a residential property team.
- Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and residential property law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using conveyancing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
