Junior Data Engineer

As they embark on their next phase of digital transformation, they are looking to add a Data Engineer to their team.A glimpse of your role:Assist in maintaining the data environment, focusing on security and performance.Provide support to both external partners and internal teams with data to aid business initiatives.Help create and maintain reporting data models for BI reporting.Manage and update reports in the BI reporting tool.Work with the business to identify and define data requirements, ensuring they match agreed priorities.Guide non-technical end users in adopting self-service reporting, offering assistance and best practices as needed.What you will bring:Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues and give updates on data activities.Basic proficiency in SQL and data modeling.Familiarity with Python.Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and BI reporting technologies.Some experience with modern BI platforms.Please contact Joely Callaghan at Synchro to explore this fantastic opportunity further!
